About the Recipe

Ingredients
1 slice of bread (any kind - white, brown, sourdough)
1 tbsp butter (for toasting the bread)
1 small red apple, diced
1 tbsp butter (for caramelizing the apples)
1-2 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
1–2 tbsp peanut butter
Optional:
A dash of vanilla while cooking the apples
Crushed nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds) for garnish
Preparation
1. Prepare the Toast
Butter one side of your bread.
Place it butter-side-down on a warm pan and toast until golden, crispy, and smells amazing.
Set aside on a plate.
2. Make the Cinnamon Caramel Apples
Warm a pan and add the second tablespoon of butter.
Add the diced red apples once the butter melts.
Sprinkle in the brown sugar and cinnamon.
Toss the apples as they begin to soften and caramelize.
Optional:Â Add a dash of vanilla for extra warmth and aroma.
Cook until glossy, soft, and golden.
3. Assemble the Toast
Spread peanut butter over the toast, pushing it toward the edges to create a pretty curved, shiny outline.
Place the warm buttery cinnamon apples on top.
Optional:Â Add crushed nuts for garnish.
4. Serve Immediately
Enjoy it hot while everything is melty, cozy, and perfect.
