Caramelized Apple Peanut Butter Toast

About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 slice of bread (any kind - white, brown, sourdough)

  • 1 tbsp butter (for toasting the bread)

  • 1 small red apple, diced

  • 1 tbsp butter (for caramelizing the apples)

  • 1-2 tbsp brown sugar

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 1–2 tbsp peanut butter


  • Optional:

    • A dash of vanilla while cooking the apples

    • Crushed nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds) for garnish

Preparation

1. Prepare the Toast
  • Butter one side of your bread.

  • Place it butter-side-down on a warm pan and toast until golden, crispy, and smells amazing.

  • Set aside on a plate.


2. Make the Cinnamon Caramel Apples
  • Warm a pan and add the second tablespoon of butter.

  • Add the diced red apples once the butter melts.

  • Sprinkle in the brown sugar and cinnamon.

  • Toss the apples as they begin to soften and caramelize.

    Optional: Add a dash of vanilla for extra warmth and aroma.

  • Cook until glossy, soft, and golden.


3. Assemble the Toast
  • Spread peanut butter over the toast, pushing it toward the edges to create a pretty curved, shiny outline.

  • Place the warm buttery cinnamon apples on top.

    Optional: Add crushed nuts for garnish.


4. Serve Immediately

Enjoy it hot while everything is melty, cozy, and perfect.
