Hello Beautiful Souls,
As 2025 has come to an end, I think of what the year has taught me with lessons - some were kind of expected, many quite unexpected. This was a year of realizations, challenges, and growth. This is what I've learned:
Life Isn't Straight - And That's Okay !
No matter how much you do the "right " things in life, success isn't always guaranteed. Whether it’s health, work, or relationships, things don’t always go as planned. The only power you have is how you respond . This year, I’ve learned the importance of resilience and choosing to move forward, even when the road is not clear. Don't let setbacks define you and rise above them.
Consistency Pays Off
If there’s one thing that stood out in 2025, it’s the power of consistency . Whether it’s a fitness routine, a professional habit, or personal growth, staying consistent with just one thing can lead to amazing results. Small, steady efforts accumulate over time and bring long-term rewards.
Ask for What You Want
For a long time, I believed that silently doing hard work would automatically be recognized. But 2025 taught me that if you don’t ask, you often won’t receive. Taking the bold step to ask - whether it’s for a raise, an opportunity, or support - can open doors you didn’t even know existed.
Take the Leap
Sometimes, all you need is the courage to jump . Couple of years ago, I took a calculated risk by switching from an industry I was comfortable in to a completely different one. It was intimidating, but that leap brought growth, new experiences, and a broader perspective. If there’s something you want but fear holds you back, consider taking that jump - it might just be the change you need.
Dress on Purpose
I’ve always believed to "Dress for the job you want, the respect you deserve, or the life partner you envision " This year, I will become more intentional with how I present myself. The way you dress can influence how people perceive and treat you, and more importantly, it affects how you carry yourself.
The Power of Forgiveness
Letting go of grudges has lifted an enormous weight off my shoulders. Forgiveness is not about excusing others but about freeing yourself from bitterness. The feeling that peace and lightness bring are worth it.
Friendships Have Seasons
Not every friend is meant to walk with you through every chapter of your life. I’ve learned to cherish the friends who are there for a reason, value those who come for a season, and treasure the rare ones who stay for a lifetime .
Time is Precious
With so much loss around us, these past few years has been a sad reminder of how short time is. I’ve realized the importance of being present and spending meaningful time with loved ones. In 2026, I plan to be more intentional about showing love, sharing my thoughts, and making memories with those who matter.
Financial Independence Is Important
2025 emphasized the need for financial security. Whether through investments, real estate, or side hustles, being financially prepared is non-negotiable . Life’s uncertainties - whether health-related or job-related - highlight the importance of having a safety net. In 2026, I plan to take more proactive steps in this direction. (Fingers-crossed)
The Power of Belief
"If your mind can conceive it, you can achieve it " Reading Becoming Supernatural affirmed my belief in the power of the mind. When you align your thoughts with your goals, incredible things can happen.
Do Your Own Research
2025 has taught me to be more careful with how I get my information. In a world where data can be manipulated, having a 360-degree perspective before making decisions is important. I’ve learned to research and look deeply for different viewpoints and trust my own research.
Trust Your Gut
My intuition, my “other mind ” has been my guiding force. Trusting it has saved me from countless mistakes and helped me make right judgements. With this, I’ve realized the importance of gut health - because a healthy gut nurtures a sharper mind.
Stop Caring About What Others Think
There are billions of people on this planet, each with an opinion. Trying to please everyone is exhausting. 2025, I’ve learned to let go of that burden and focus on living genuinely.
2025 has been a year of growth, self-reflection, and understanding for me. As I step into 2026, I will try to carry these lessons with me - ready to take on new challenges and continue evolving.
Here's to a year of resilience, courage, and intentional living! What has 2025 taught you? Do tell.
Love Always,
Sarina xx
